iPhone 5 Receives Approval to Operate in China

According to Sina (via Unwired) and AppleInsider, Chinese regulators have give the nod to two of Apple’s iPhone 5, making it likely that the iPhone 5 will launch in China soon.

China has the world’s largest wireless market and people dying to get their hands on the latest Apple devices—the real ones—so this news could bolster Apple’s stock dip.
A Chinese regulatory agency on Tuesday revealed that two models of Apple’s iPhone 5 have been granted approval to operate on the country’s networks, suggesting that the popular smartphone will soon launch in the world’s largest wireless market.
