Apple recently announced that Scott Forstall, senior Vice President of iOS Software, will not be part of Apple next year. In the meantime, he will serve as an advisor to CEO Tim Cook. Apparently, he was kicked out of Apple as he didn’t sign the apology for iOS 6 Maps. Also, the relationship between Scott and other employees was going bad.
If you remember, Scott Forstall introduced all of us to Siri during the iPhone 4S announcement. He demonstrated Siri on stage and talked to the virtual assistant that we’re all used to now.
