In The Wake Of Hurricane Sandy In U.S, iTunes Accepts Donations For American Red Cross Relief Efforts

| |

Hurricane Sandy, the Superstorm that hit the Northeastern United States, mid-Atlantic and Caribbean areas late last month, has caused a lot of damage and claimed more than 60 lives. New York, New Jersey and other areas affected are facing losses of about $6 Billion. To help in the Red Cross relief efforts, Apple and the American Red Cross are now accepting donations through the iTunes Store.
If you head over to the iTunes Store you’ll see a new icon that will let you donate to help Hurricane Sandy victims. Apple and the Red Cross had previously done the same during the Haiti Earthquake and the Japan Tsunami. Want to help? You can donate $5, $10, $25, $50, $100 or $200 and iTunes will not take a cut, all the money will directly go the American Red Cross relief for Hurricane Sandy. The process is super easy too and uses your iTunes account to pay.
Go here to donate!
